We climbed the volcano Picaya! It was a really cool experience and really hot by the lava.
My sister and I both happened to run into this lovely corner with the protruding cement window sill. This picture was taken after her hit and before mine, and I caught her after she ran into. I find it ironic the picture was taken of the two of us and I soon after went down because of it.

Interesting things in Guatemala
So we thought it was interesting that they can carry anything with or on their head. This woman is carrying pineapple in bags. We would see men and women also carrying things like large bundles of wood held to them by a strap around their forehead. Crazy.
This is obviously a volcano erupting and we thought it was really cool that we got to witness it.
We found this interesting thing a little funny. The main square in Antigua has this fountain in it with (stone) women, one facing each direction, squeezing their nipples where the water flows from.

Pictures of the home the family had before and during our trip in Guatemala
This picture is of the house the family was living in prior to us building their new one.
This was the inside of the house the family was living in. The family consisted of a single mom, her twin, 10-year-old boys, and her 6-year-old daughter. I just have to say what a wonderful family they are.
This picture is of the family's kitchen (the area with a roof held up by sticks to the right), the bathroom (the pieces of tarp with the blanket in front), and the new home we were building for them which is the cinderblock and cement to the left of the picture.
